LAMDA in different settings
Zoom info for Friday's meet up
This Friday (27th March) at 5pm I’m hosting a live Zoom meet up focusing on something that I often allude to, but don’t often have time to share in full: a behind-the-scenes look at how we run LAMDA classes across multiple settings - schools, our studio, hired halls, students’ homes, online…
Every setting has its own advantages and disadvantages and most teachers will focus on just one or two of these settings rather than all of them!
So this will be a brilliant opportunity for you to find out more about where other LAMDA teachers are running classes, and whether this could be a way of opening up a new revenue stream for your own business.
I’ll be breaking down exactly how The Playing Space currently delivers LAMDA tuition in these different settings, and we’ll look at:
The three different school models we use, and the impact each model has on workload and income
How we adjust pricing depending on the setting to make sure costs are covered
How offering more than one option can lead to better student retention
We can all share the thinking behind the choices we make about where to teach. The model you choose has a huge effect on your time, income, stress levels and your students’ experience, so it’s really important to get this right and to make adjustments if it’s not working.
So, if you’re trying to grow your own LAMDA teaching business or streamline what you already offer, or simply have a feeling that your current set up isn’t quite working, then this session will give you a much clearer framework from which to make decisions.
